What is Anodyne Therapy?

Anodyne therapy is an innovative noninvasive, painless therapy that uses infrared light for the treatment of pain, numbness and decreased circulation as a result of peripheral neuropathy (weakness, numbness and pain from nerve damage, usually in the hands and feet. It was the first infrared light therapy product cleared by the FDA (1994), and it remains the premier evidenced – based light therapy product on the market today.

How Does Anodyne Therapy Work?

Anodyne Anodyne TherapyAnodyne Therapy uses only infrared light emitting diodes (LEDs) because infrared light penetrates more deeply into the body and works better than red or blue light, for instance. While we cannot see infrared, our bodies respond to infrared with increased circulation and reduced pain. It is the only diode based therapy that has numerous studies published in the medical journals and recommended by Diabteic magazine.

Published Clinical Data : Anodyne Therapy is the only LED light therapy device backed by published studies of nearly 5,000 patients (25 studies). These published studies document positive results delivered by Anodyne’s unique light medicine (infrared, wavelength, photo-energy density, pulsation, duty cycle and treated area).

Red Light Therapy for Nerve Regeneration: Multiple studies have found that what’s known as low-level light therapy can be surprisingly effective not only when it comes to treating some of the painful symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, but also for reversing the damage it causes, as well.
