A graduate of St. Peterburg College in 1993, Antonio has worked in Sarasota his entire career. His career began in in-patient rehabilitation at HealthSouth Rehab Hospital and Heartland Healthcare and Rehabilitation from 1993 to 2000. In 2000, he began to focus on outpatient rehabilitation in the areas of sports injuries, general orthopedics, and personal training.
In April of 2008, he co-founded Gulf Shore Physical Therapy Center in order to provide the best-personalized therapy experience in Sarasota. Antonio uses an evidence-based approach when treating patients to provide the best care possible increasing patient outcomes and overall satisfaction. In 2017 Mr. Teresi became certified as an IASTM – STMT – 1 practitioner.
Mr. Teresi has also successfully completed a Shockwave Certification Course, through the Academy of Shockwave Excellence in February of 2025, demonstrating proficiency in the principles, applications, and best practices of shockwave therapy. This certification signifies a deep understanding of its therapeutic benefits, patient assessment techniques, and effective treatment protocols. With this expertise, Mr. Teresi is equipped to integrate shockwave therapy into clinical practice, enhancing patient outcomes through advanced, evidence-based rehabilitation and pain management strategies.
